While Tim’s focus and expertise has been firmly rooted in digital strategy over the past decade, he’s established particular depth in the technology, publishing, higher education, and B2B sectors as a result of his work with clients such as Acuity SDS, Anagram, Attivio, The Boston Globe, Constellation New Energy, CoreAxis Consulting, CipherTechs, Digilant, Fortis College, the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO), Northeastern University, Resolution (An Omnicom Media Company), Signiant, Sixcel, Starter Fluid LLC, TIBCO Spotfire, Sulzer Chemtech, and Dubai-based Virtuzone.
He is also experienced at designing, launching and managing digital advertising and online marketing optimization strategies for clients, with the goals of generating quality new business opportunities (leads), raising brand awareness, and addressing online reputation management (ORM). To that end, he and East Coast Catalyst are Google Certified in AdWords and Google Analytics.
Tim has written dozens of articles, white papers, and blog posts on the subject of digital strategy, marketing audits, and digital marketing optimization. His most recent thought leadership project is ChiefDigitalOfficer.net, a global community for digital professionals whose responsibilities intersect strategy, technology and marketing. Tim’s writings can also be found on ECC’s Digital Strategy Blog, Chief Executive magazine, eContent Magazine (where he is also a judge for the EContent 100), Digital Content Next, CRM Magazine, Quora, and The Professional Services Firm Bible (Wiley).
Prior to launching East Coast Catalyst in 2009, he was CEO of Pixel Bridge, a full-service interactive marketing and web development firm he founded in 1999 and was acquired in 2009 by AMP Agency. Previously, he was a vice president at Kennedy Information, and a senior analyst at IDC. Tim is a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
